New to Blogging

It’s not really like I’m new to blogging. I’ve just never had one exclusively under my name. So, it should come as no surprise to me that I lost track of both the password and what date it was. I have since recovered both.

So, the events of the 2009 World Fantasy Convention did conclude successfully. I got my interview with Philippa Jane Ballantine, and as a bonus Tee Morris and Michelle M. Welch (my editor on Theme and Variations Anthology).  The interviews are over at the Touching the Monolith podcast. (Pip and  Tee can be found that the respective links, but Michelle’s interview hasn’t posted yet.)

After the convention, we have led our normal little lives. Working for “the man” and such. It just didn’t seem like three weeks had passed. Naturally, when the wife’s surgery appointment rolled around today, I thought “maybe I should post something on the blog about that”.  It seems that a couple months ago a growth of some sort was found in her uterus, and the doctor felt that the probably should remove it and do a biopsy. That caused a bit of stress, but the surgery was a success, and we’ll get the results of the biopsy after Thanks Giving (probably a good thing).

Lastly, it seems that my NaNoWriMo offering this year is a bit lack luster. I haven’t had the time to write that I did last year, and it’s really been a tragedy, because I have a much better idea this time. At least, I have the idea, and not being able to compete in NaNoWriMo isn’t that important. I can still write the story.

I’ll leave you with that. Don’t want to go crazy too soon. This is only my third post after all.

~Ciao~
